Now that I am 16 months old, there are not as many "firsts" anymore. But hooooooooooooeeeeeeee, this was a fun one. I got to walk in the middle of a highway on a BRIDGE! And I got to do it without wearing a leash! It was especially zippy since I had just finished with 8 days of shows.I was really sick of taking a bath every morning... so when we finally left I was happy to go. But we drove and drove and then we sat in the car for a really long time.
Somebody broke the bridge - and IT WASN'T ME! Really, this time I am telling the whole truth. I wasn't even near the bridge when it broke. I was asleep in the back seat.
It was great-great-great to be able to take a break and have a great stroll in the sunshine. It would have been better if I could have gotten in the water and then rolled in the sand! But on that day, at that moment, this little walkabout across the yellow line, with the wind in my hair and the sun on my back, it was darn goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood.
